Swell.. People who buy this are the same people who once said, "If you aren't doing anything wrong what do you have to fear?" I think we've seen the flaws in that arguement. One of the things that makes the United States great is the presumption of innocence. Our forefathers I am sure could not have imagined the technology available to government but they did have some experiences with invasive and crushing governmental powers but knew government had the power to quash even legal activities with it's heavy arm. It's a slippery slope. Is it okay to test without reason for high sodium levels? After all, if you use too much salt despite knowing the detrimental effects of high sodium, aren't you injuring yourself and therefor society by costing it more in health care costs? Kiss freedom good-bye ladies and gentlemen....while you are picking your arguments. Lynann!!

As for drug testing,the people in my building are responsible for the care and safety of the residents.If you are high you aren't prepared for an emergency or to steady a shaky oldster.I have no problem with it. Yeah if you are high you probably arent capable, but if you smoked a doobie the previous night are you gonna be high? They don't do random testing but if you smoked the night before,don't get in an accident because before you fill out an incident report you are tested.If positive,goodbye.In NH you don't need a reason to quit and they don't need one to fire. It's called work at will. You have a good head on your shoulders!

The poor in the US fare far better than the poor in Afghanistan. Homeless children in the US can go to school, before we invaded no girls in Afghanistan could go to school. To compare the two is to reveal yourself to be wholly partisan. Human suffering is human suffering. Should we have let the Nazis have their way with Europe, because there were homeless people in the US? Give me a break. |

Well I for one am sick of the hate and assumption that I voted for Obama because I am stupid,to piss off McCain or because I wanted to do the popular thing.I studied the issues and Obama was who I liked.You didn't.
Can we move on and help Obama make this country great or are we going to be poor losers.John McCain has shown great class in defeat.I just wish his followers would do the same. United we stand .Or can we only do that when we are in a 9/11 situation? |

I say no,not because of mammoths but because some crazy f@#$k will decide to bring back Hitler or Stalin or some other equally evil person. Thats not to say clones will automatically be just like their DNA counterparts. A good portion of what makes a persons attitudes and personality is their life experiences and education. If Hitler was raised in a home, with a great set of parents and never joined the military, but instead stayed in art school, he wouldn't have ever became the evil that he did. Of course, the same goes for Ghandi, but in the reverse. Or if the big beefy jews wouldn't of picked on him in the gym giving him an image complex. lmao sorry I was thinking about an episode of Family Guy funny show..

Hitler got kicked out of art school because he was mediocre.I am watching a documentary about the raping and stealing of art by the Nazi's during WW2.Very interesting. I married the "King of the A$$'s" And, had babies? the only good thing I ever got out of him...My 2 kids....Too bad he chooses not to be a dad..... But you know...Its his loss...They know that I am there for them 24/7 and I do whatever it takes to take care of them...he will regret it now and forever.... Mine will too but he chooses work over his son.My daughter and son are my life.They have different dad's but my 8 yr old son suffers guilt because his Dad left for Singapore for work and Brandon thinks he did something bad.It has also eroded his self confidence.Of course I am left to deal with damage control.

someone sent me this...not a bad idea...if I do say so myself... Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, ! have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass, doing drugs, while I work. . .Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? what ever happened to the 5th ammendment anyway violation to drug test before a incident and afterwards as well ------------------------------------------- Amendment 5 - Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings.
