Ok, I'll leave *you* alone. But I won't leave this, or any other thread
I see fit to visit and post on. Until such time as I don't feel like
visiting anymore. And/or posts therein.

And if she wants an(other) apology, she needs only to tell me she
deseves it.

If it were a matter of personal opinions that have no value in any
court of law, I'd be right there next to you organizing the lynch mob.
But impeachment is a legal thing- and no one's shown anything yet that
holds water.

I already gave my apology to the person who deserved it. And did so
before you said I owed one. AND on *this* thread, no less. Now look
who's not reading.

Oh, it's not impossible that they did it.

But it's impossible that they did it the way these conspiracy nuts have
tried to describe.

And moreso, it's impossible that they could hide it this well.

And beyond that- it's impossible that they could fool every credible
expert on the subject of superstructures- yet screwed up so badly that a
bunch of uneducated kids on the internet could punch holes in it.

It's a matter of "means", "motive" and "opportunity". In this case, the
accusor was holding a smoking gun, but the victim died by poisoning, and
had no bullet wounds. And if there was opportunity, no one's been able
to prove it. The only thing that holds up is the "motive"- and that's
just not enough.

And to your post that occurs above my other (which I started before
yours entered in)

Just go back and re-read this thread.

Yes

Perhaps

Probably just misled

Probably not- but they have no ill will towards them

Ditto

In some cases, unfortunately, this is true

Any one who claims that is worse than a blasphemer

The do their best. Which isn't always very good. But it's their best.

Really? Haven't met anyone who worshipped this government here. Just
people who don't fear it like it's the devil.

And I told you, I'm neither trolling nor harrassing. I'm visiting the
threads in Current Events.... all of them. If one brings up a point I
feel I have a valid opinion of, I post in it. If you hadn't noticed,
that's almost every thread in the last three days (which is when I
discovered these forums).

You don't like my opinions. And you don't like the fact that I'm good
at them. That's your issue. But I'm still not trolling OR harrassing.
Now you really need to stop getting so emotional over this stuff. You're
old enough to know how to take it in the same stride anyone else here
does.

We already explained how that worked. You wanna play denial of the
obvious, have fun. But don't pretend like we haven't given you all the
proof a rational person needs.

You're really obsessed with these anti-bush threads. Can't you just
make one or two and stick with that alone?

And if I were the devil- I'd do a better job. Satan once led the fallen
angels, outnumbered two to one, against God Himself. And managed to drag
the war out for a thousand years. I don't think something like Iraq
would cause him so many problems.

That is, if you believe in those stories. I do not. No devil, and thus,
no one can be the devil.

Hmm. Interesting on the euthenasia question. My uncle has cancer- he's
dying- even if we had a cure for cancer that would kill it instantly,
and gave it to him tomorrow, the stuff has done too much damage to his
body, there's no recovery from his point.

I couldn't kill him. I wouldn't. But I would not seek to prevent him
from doing it himself. I would personally load the gun, if that's the
way he wanted to go, but I would not pull the trigger.

My individual morals? I cannot. Not all of them, at least. It's against
my morality to poison my own flesh- it's in the rights of others to do
that to themselves. As an example.

The first, the only *absolute* right a human has (that I'm aware of) is
the "right to self"- we OWN us. What you do to and with yourself is your
right. And what I do with me is mine. Of course, it's almost impossible
to do anything without affecting another person. As long as it's done
with tacit consent, there's nothing wrong with it.

Beyond that, things get more blurry. Our souls certainly compel us to
help others in need- that doesn't make it a MUST that we act on that
feeling. But we are rewarded, spiritually, for doing so.

And, as you said, "defective" humans. They certainly exist. Wish I knew
how and why. It'd be a nice tool to have. Fix them if possible, and hunt
them down if not.

I'm doing nothing wrong in stating an opinion. And that's the part I
called misleading propoganda.

Fri 04/20/07 10:42 PM
Ok. If you want to be that limited and specific in scope. It's sad that
these things happen. But nothing in this world can prevent them from
happening. We're humans. Humans make mistakes. Humans *fail*. It's that
simple.

I suppose you have even one modicrum of proof of this that doesn't
involve a website that anyone can doctor to look like anything?

no photo
Fri 04/20/07 10:40 PM
I did address the original link. Obviously, painfully, misleading
propoganda about a few failures in the system. Nothing in this universe
is perfect. Not even the course we travel through the heavens.

However, an impeachment requires absolute proof of criminal activities.
If we had that proof, the democrats would make sure to show it on every
concievable news source that exists.

And I'll support the thousands of others who found no problems at all.
Seems fair to me.

We've supported a lot of monsters. Now, why all these threads that are
essentially the same thing with a different paint job?

Oh. We screwed up this war. There's no doubt of that in anyone's mind.
But we weren't deliberately malicious about it. Saddam was.

We are discussing the original topic. Which is the injustices in the
foster care system. It may not have been what you meant, but it is what
you conveyed. I don't see you getting on Red's case.... then again, she
offered support for your point.... so it's only those who say things you
don't like that cause you any problems.

We're in Iraq because we shoulda been fighting that war over a DECADE
ago. Don't ignore the first Iraq war. Don't ignore the treaty (although
Saddam was happy to). Don't ignore the fact that Clinton ignored those
things, too. Don't ignore us giving Saddam years to comply to the treaty
he signed in the first place.

You can't (fairly) blame Bush for Iraq. All he did was step up and do
what shoulda been done almost a decade earlier.

THAT is why we're in Iraq. Unfortunately.
