such a woman as I meet in my dreams...
is reading this now, and wondering, it seems.

with eyes that are ageless, that see to my core,
who wants the things I want...all that and more.

she cries when she's lonesome, is brave when she's sad...
faces each newday, tho she knows it might be bad.

hoping that one day...that "someone", will read her...
and see the real woman, clothed in loves splendor.

for she's waiting as I am, with hope and a dream...
till then, sipping coffee, maybe even sugar & cream.

please dry your eyes...& let me see that pretty smile.

went to visit an old friend today, at the rock point cemetary...
yesterday they put her in the ground, no more on earth to tarry.

free now from the pains she suffered, I hope she still can see...
that I'm sorry I wasn't there for her, to ease her misery.

she shared with me...body and soul, what was hers, was mine,
I'm grateful to have known her, and I'll reach for her in time.

peace be with you dear sweet friend, and joy o're come your sorrow..
we'll walk the woods again I know...when today becomes tomorrow.
