why are we so lonely...what drives us to be paired up...
why is it such a struggle to bare lifes burdens alone?

what a joy to be held...why is that
why is that

Once upon a time I could have answered this.. but now I don't even know myself....

Not sure, but perhaps it comes from when we were created...

For He made man a help mate and called her woman,
and the two shall become one.

Perhaps that is why we continue to search out one another
to be paired up.

We notice what we focus on
we dwell within our dreams
but life is like an opera
we're the actors in the scenes

If you wish to write a romance
you must implement the part
beseech a woman for a date
and be careful not to fart

Write out lines of poetry
be methodic in your verse
never let the woman know
your thoughts are so perverse

Tell her that she's wonderful
and you like the way she smiles
be sure to take a shower
and pay attention to the styles

Share with her your humor
but make sure it isn't gross
demonstrate your patience
and you'll eventually get close

Once you've written "friendship"
then love can get erotic
but scenes must go in baby steps
or she'll think that you're psychotic

So get your butt up on the stage
and audition with your lines
and this is no rehearsal
so be attired to the nines

And when you finally get the part
and you're accepted for the role
then you'll have to tie the knot
and begin to play that fool

I would rather have a sore back. Then a sore wrist.

in the end we are all alone......
