I'd be on a tropical island lounging on the beach and a island boy would be bringing me drinks with little umbrellas in them and feeding me fresh fruit. excellent! I would add myself drawing in charcoal, which I never seem to have enough time to do. |

Not gonna lie, gettin a tatt hurts especially if done on a boney area. However, the tatt artist always starts with the outline first an usually by the time that's done the endorphines have kicked in an the pain becomes more a nuisance than a "%^**&%^* that hurts!!" Footnote* Not wise to drink alcohol before u get a tatt cause it could cause problems with bleedin. Any trully reputable tatt artist won't tatt someone that's been drinkin. If they do, they're idiots. I like! I peeked at your profile Why are you wayyy over there!!! |

Have something on ur stomach. good advice. I am a weenie when it comes to pain! I will be crying like a baby |

I def. agree that if you get a tattoo, let it be something that means something to you, not like a boyfriends name or anything like that. I have one on my left forearm which probably seems like a weird place for a girl but it has more meaning then what it actually is. Just make sure it's something your proud to look at everyday, unless you get it somewhere that you can't see without a mirror. As for a piercing I've had a bunch that I did myself and they didn't hurt, only ones I don't like are the skin and tongue ones. If your worried about scarring then you might want to check out which are the least noticeable if they do. Which in that case would rule out eyebrow, and for a lot of people belly button. By looking at your pic though I don't think a nose stud would look bad. thanks. I am not sure if I can get away with a facial piercing. My job is very public and that probably wouldn't go over too well. lol |

Many people view an email as a form of interest, whether you mean it that way or not. Some people can exchange casual emails and it goes smoothly, no misunderstandings, no hurt feelings, just casual chit chat about nothing special, but some people can't. Some of them actually believe if you answer their emails, you WANT them, no matter what your profile says. For those of you who will say "it's common courtesy" to answer, that might be true, but I'd rather temporarily hurt someone's feelings (it's the internet, you'll get over it) than have to block someone because he became a stalker/got rude/or just made me freaking uncomfortable. It's a rare person who can send an email, get a polite response back and let it go. I don't find that often, unfortunately. I agree. Sometimes I don't answer emails because I don't want the person to think I am interested. Lately I have answered most of them just by saying "thanks for the email". Yep, but then, they think the "thanks" is still an open door for more communication. That's why I'd rather "offend" them than have a mile long block list (which I'm working on right now, grrrr) Yeah, But I don't open the 2nd email from them. That sometimes works, sometimes not. |

I havent decided yet, I am working on a drawing that will have some meaning to me. I want to have it done either on the inside of my ankle ( so I can see it) or above the knee...Hmmm.. coarse I may end up with a dot... if it hurts alot!! lol That is what I am afraid of, the pain involved. I don't drink so I can't medicate it, although that is probably not wise to begin with. Let me know how it turns out for you. |

I have been debating whether to get a tattoo or piercing. I had my naval pierced in the past, but let it close. I am undecided and would like opinions on these. I would need to be discrete so no facial piercings. I wonder if it is a mid-life crisis, because I have decided on the Mercedes for next year. Thoughts on tats and piercings? Pros? Cons? Thanks I think so too! |

B, I have one tattoo on my hip. I got it just for ME. I can show it or not and have never regretted it. It is very meaningful to me, not only the tat but my choice to get it. That is the kind I would get, something that would be my choice whether I showed or not. |

Buttah, just remember one thing if u get a tatt make sure it's something u wanna be stuck with, something that means something to u. Gettin a tatt of something u think is 'kewl' may not be so kewl to u 10 yrs from now. I know, just like putting a man's name on your body! lol My cousin is a tatt artist, he did my first 2. He flat out refuses to put names other than kids or parents names on someone. It's known as the ultimate kiss of death to a relationship gettin a SO's name tatted on u. so true. If he did compromise that, someone would be chasing him down to have it removed!! lol |

Well I do worship the female body...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder Suppose so...what I'm wondering is if you don't like tattoos, what are you doing in a thread asking about tattoos... I think she wanted opinions from people who had gotten tattoos & piercings? exactly |

My opinion...for what it's worth: tattoos and piercings are a desecration of a temple designed to house the soul. Would you put grafitti on the Great Pyramids or dump orange dye over Niagra Falls? I'm just saying... I did not think of it that way, thanks for your post. I think of my body as a vessel, yes to "house to soul", but that is all. I don't associate it with the soul, just a piece of "soul luggage" if you will. My body is a canvas...I'm thinking a Picasso. I would love to use my finger paints on you |
