Depends upon the food.
Freezers are insulated, so the icy temperatures will hold longer than in the fridge. If the ice cubes are still frozen, then everything else is fine. But don't risk meat or chicken. Milk, of course can spoil easily. Apples don't require refrigeration, neither does mustard. The fridge/freezer can keep things well as long as you limit the number of times you open the door (reduce the cold temperature). |

It would be naive to think that anyone may admit they have been one. Why OF COURSE! But I have seen a few "come clean" here already...& I'm digging the honesty. Anyone who says that they haven't done it or thought it, is a liar...& mainly to themselves. You've "hit the nail right in its head" Phuque. |

"WHAT is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?— No time to stand beneath the boughs, And stare as long as sheep and cows: No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass: No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night: No time to turn at Beauty's glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance: No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began? A poor life this if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare." ...................W. H. Davies "Leisure" |

"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never Pass into nothingness; but still will keep A bower quiet for us, and a sleep Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing." ....................John Keats' epic poem, Endymion, 1818: |

Deep Purple is no stranger to anyone here, i suppose. But my pick of their lot are these two softer versions.....
"Wasted Sunsets" and "Soldier Of Fortune". As For Rainbow, who could forget the classic "Temple Of The King". |

Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again", pretty much reflects my kind of life right now. This not only is my all time Top 10 favourite, if i could list one, but is a song that i associate myself with so much.
If you will permit, let me quote a few lines, from that song..... "I don't know where I'm going But, I sure know where Ive been Hanging on the promises In songs of yesterday An Ive made up my mind, I ain't wasting no more time. Though I keep searching for an answer, I never seem to find what I'm looking for Oh lord, I pray You give me strength to carry on, cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams. I'm just another heart in need of rescue, Waiting on loves sweet charity An I'm gonna hold on For the rest of my days, cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams. And here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An Ive made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time." |

So, I've been having one foul morning...or should I say FOWL morning! I was out in the backyard, smoking & fuming cuz my phone isn't working & I really needed to use it today...when a Perigrin falcon flys low overhead...with a blackbird in it's talons...the bird was still alive & SQUEAKING...UGH! So, tell me...how do you turn a frown upside down? Don't feel sad you pretty princess. Always remember that God loves you. |
