I understand rich people being republicans they make more money that way . its the working class that charges my mind . they make less working for them they don't live as well , small houses crappy lawns small yards and always having to say mr to the pig . he knows when his love is ug because the boss doesn't do her . and of course his rug rats can't get out either because repubs don't think workers need to go to school because there only so many people who can be boss and what does the pissons need an ed for . theres just no need for them to be educated .. I'm sorry I don't know anyone that voted for him . but i do think hes a better choice than MCCAIN was . Actually I liked McCain for 2000...too bad Karl Rove swiftboated him in the SC primaries...McCain was no hard core neocon with a hard on for war like the Dippic turned out to be, so he was washed aside. If McCain had gotten the nomination he'd not have had the support from the criminals who fixed the Florida election...thus would have probably lost then as well. In a way I think McCain knew he was not up for that job this time...if he had been he'd not allowed Palin on the ticket...now THAT was their biggest mistake...or was it his great hope and his final relief...who'd want to continue the GOP's disasterous reign? Not him. 
if you believe anything michael savage says, mccain being nominated was all part of the great conspiracy to elect obama. i must admit , then i liked romney but we all saw the GOP's true bigot colors when they threw him under a bus for being mormon. the ultimate dellusion of these conservatives is that everything would be roses now if mccain had won. how is what i'd like to know seeing obama's done everything bush would have done with exception to healthcare...it's the ones that voted for him should be fuming mad not the sheep at fox news...yet few i know that voted for him are. |

only thing she's guilty of is being stupid and if that's a crime then half of the country's population is guilty. The only thing she's really done is rile people up..if someone carried out something just cause she said to, does that make her guilty? If i can recall, several shootings happened because O'Reilly and Limbaugh riled people up yet the GOP came quickly their defense behind their first amendment. As far as supplying terrorist organizations, i see no evidence other than she may have given money to a muslim charity that America's labeled terrorists, if this is all they have then come arrest me. I meant converts like these that convert only to use the religion as a guise as to their hatred. Ones who convert and practice the religion as it is taught i respect and love. As i said before, this woman converted online and never set foot in a mosque. She's a disgrace to muslims and she and people like her give us a bad name. this is one of the reasons i detest american converts but i know someone who has corresponded with this person. She's not an online convert and she doesn't practice islam. This is a mentally disturbed person and there's no real evidence that anyone who "followed" her committed any crimes. Just like the majority of converts that get on the internet and use Islam as a crutch to spread their insantiy and hate , they're looking for fame pure and simple. Islam doesn't teach this behavior. I know this all too well, my brother, but her actions show she is probably guilty in what she did, and her heart was not genuine in accepting the teachings of the Qu'ran or the wisdom of Allah. Her motives were selfish and destructive, and for that she should be condemned. Perpetuating or encouraging a violent Jihad is not being a good Muslim, and she deserves punishment for her actions. People convert all the time, and many are true and devoted to their new faith, so I wouldn't be so quick to pre-judge "converts." When one pours gasoline on their head and then lights a match, they ought not be surprised when their burka catches on fire.. Moderators are you going to allow idiot comments like this? They allow all of yours.. not really, about 65 % of mine get deleted. |

Reading this post makes me think of that maxim, "Mean People Suck". But I’m confused, is the topic’s basic question, “Is HC (and Sean Penn, by association) a mean person? Or is the question more along the lines of “What should HC’s official title be?” I'm totally staying outta' the "how-many-nightsticks-constitute-a-problem scenario" 
good question,, mean is so relative. I dont know if Penn is mean but his opinions seem on the side of prone to violence... as far as official titles, I dont know. I just know the CIA lists Venezuela as a federal republic, meaning power lies with the people, and the people have voted Chavez three times which makes me wonder how anyone can say with certainty he is a dictator..... well Chavez hates America and called Bush the devil..by conservatives' definition that's a dictator....so i guess that means i'm a dictator. I'll take Sean Penn's word over any Fox talk show host's since Penn's visited the country many times. |

By that definition, anyone who is being tried as a terrorist, or for terrorism related issues, needs to be tried by a military tribunal, not a civilian court, as terrorism is directed towards non-combatants (non-military). If I broke a civilian law while I was in the Army, I would be tried and punished through a civilian court. If I broke a military law, or did something that involved the military, then I would be tried and punished under UCMJ (Uniform Code of MILITARY Justice). in regards to a non-American being tried in military tribunal or civilian court and receiving the same benefits as an American citizen, I disagree vehemently. Certain HUMAN rights, yes, but not AMERICAN rights. then please explain to me why the soldier that raped a 14 year old iraqi and murdered her family in cold blood was tried in a civilian court and not a military court. Bush's explanation was..."he wasn't in the military when the charges were brought against him" so...it's ok to try criminals that are middle eastern in military courts but not US soldiers? Might i add...this guy got off for his crime. |
