The question is that if you are on a date with someone, and that person gave you the impression that he or she is very argumentative, would you go on further to continue to date that person?

just recently had some fun last night at the Indians' game. Especially did some bar-hopping on Huron st. after the game. Don't know what you are talking about.

See how a thread can be about one thing and then later turn out to be a bragging right on who worked the most hours. 78 hours last week.bigsmile

There was no bragging in the thread until you said you bet you worked more hours. The thread wasn't about that.
I don't know about that. I just did it didn't I? I believe it is possible that many more will do so too. Dan is an exception. What a workaholic! LOL

Didn't I just say there was no bragging before you started? You just confirmed that.
Not true. Is this a sign of a possible senility later in the future for you? I said that it will be a place for bragging rights about who worked the most hours after the said post I've had made.ohwell

Are you always annoying like this?
Takes one to know one?

Because it is really, like, cool to insert the penis into the vagina. Still can't figure out why you don't understand that!

I can't concentrate at work. I've already had too many write-ups, even a suspension due to making stupid mistakes because I can't seem to pay attention. My mind is constantly cluttered with too many thoughts. I try to "not think" and focus on my work, but it dosen't seem to be working.

What are some things I can do to help strengthen my concentration?

I've tried exercising, get enough sleep, and eating right, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Any suggestions?
What are these "thoughts" that is distracting you from focusing on your job? Don't listen to those suggestions about you having add or whateva.

Everything
Can you be more specific? If you can pinpoint on what it is, then maybe finding a solution will be easy for you to stop the distractions at your job.

If the enemy of atheists is religion, and the future without religion where only atheists exist, then the next enemy for the atheists will be "other" atheists.

One guy quoted that "other people are hell." I think this is relevant to reflect on.

there will never be a world without religion..

there will always be a person..or a group of people that will not follow what everyone else is doing.

its what makes us human i guess..

so no..i dont think this is relevant to reflect on...at all.

AND...religion isnt an enemy to athiests..
atleast not to me it isnt..

and im sure other athiests feel the same.

i do not degrade other people who believe in something.
if they do..then thats great for them.

therefore....religion isnt an enemy at all.
That is all nice and all. But no matter what, competion is something human beings been doing for a long time. You may prefer to see it otherwise, but in the real world - competing for domination will always continue to be moving forward by whatever group holding whatever ideology.

Maybe because the trend is that more older women are seeking out young men. I read an article about that in a women magazine while waiting for the receptionist call out my name at the dentist two weeks ago.

I suppose it is because they have more confidence to aggressively seek out young pups.

while I am not sure if I would date someone younger or not it is not I that seek them out...but again I am not complaining...who knows maybe it is time to shake things up a bit...
You go gurl! Rofl.

I had a drunken accident one time. I mistakenly piss inside someone's apartment room thinking the window was open. I was forever banned at that fraternity.

I don't know that this is the place to bring a discussion of your disdain for religion. she was trying to offer him comfort
You're right. You don't know if this is a place for to discuss religion, nor it is for me to do that as well.

I know this may not help...but just know God does see things such as this and the Bible states be sure your sins will find you out..I will pray for you to come to terms with this and know that these sins will not go unpunished..I am so sorry for your loss...
The omnipotent Spagetti Monster sees everything too. I too pray for you to understand that seeing and doing nothing about it, is a result of a impotent entity who does not care about people's tragedies.

that would take all the fun out of it

BTW, Quiet, one of my fave types of dates is a tea/coffee bookstore date! winking

You can learn a lot from a person in that setting. flowerforyou
How is that so? I like walking and talking. Usually the best place in my area is on a trail near the Cuyahoga River in Kent, Ohio. I like to think that walking with someone is more relaxing for to get to know someone instead of sitting down with someone.

Of course, I am kinda hyperactive and can't be placed in a unfamiliar dull place like a coffee/bookstore. Natural surroundings is betta in my book.

To each its own I guess.

That sucks dude.

The problem of seeking out meaning in life after experiencing a tragedy like this, is to understand that whatever wrong action is committed by another person, one must prevent oneself of repeating the same wrong action twice. This model isn't easy to abide by since wrong actions are committed everyday and everytime, and that the meaning of life itself is hijacked by the common occurances of wrongful actions.

So to summarize: One can find meaning in life by trying to do best of doing good most of the time; and hopefully people around you will see that good actions is a necessary means to combat the actions of the wrong.
