guys are spose to make the first contact i think Isnt this a little outdated? Not that I am opposed to contacting women that I think are attractive/funny/compatible. I wouldnt say that its set in stone that men are required to do all of the "first response" communication. Id have to agree with Mike, we all do it, why cant they? TM |

Domestic Violence

[Why is domestic violence a less important crime than other forms of violence]
This line confuses me. What other forms of violence are you talking about? Is it a lesser offense than battery? I dont believe it is. Both carry similar sentences. A battery charege doesnt automatically have a restraining order written into the crime. When domestic violence laws came out they were written to have stiffer penalties than just a simple battery (basically what domestic violence is--a battery that happens to one or more of a household unit, family or otherwise) TM |

Pack's defense shored up nicely with Raji and Matthews. Switching to the 3-4 will be interesting but I'm hoping Capers will finally bring some aggression to the Pack's D. I am really interested to see what they do with a slimmed down Kampman. NFC North will be scary with Da Bears actually having a QB and the Viqueens with a passable QB and now Harvin with the Wildcat threat with Peterson... thank Jebus the Lions will still suck. Yea, I think alot of people are writing off the Bears. We were one win away from the division title last year with an average QB. Not the same story anymore!! Bears defense should be alot better than last year and our schedule is the easiest in the league this year. Viqueens will not do much in my opinion because of the Qb situation..and yea, Lions still suck...we're gonna kill Stafford/Culpepper Vikings won the NFC North with a shaky quarterback............. legalize meth??

Would you swallow a spoonful of drain cleaner? Does the thought of injecting brake fluid into your arm appeal to you? Care to top off your dessert with a bit of rat poison?
These are a few of the common ingredients to Meth. Alcohol - Gasoline additives/Rubbing Alcohol Ether (starting fluid) Benzene Paint thinner Freon Acetone Chloroform Camp stove fuel Anhydrous ammonia White gasoline Pheynl-2-Propane Phenylacetone Phenylpropanolamine Rock, table or Epsom salt Red Phosphorous Toluene (found in brake cleaner) Red Devil Lye Drain cleaner Muraitic acid Battery acid Lithium from batteries Sodium metal Ephedrine Cold tablets Diet aids Iodine Bronchodialators Energy boosters Iodine crystals I have been on the recieving end of having to clean up Meth labs with a Hazmat team, and I cannot see how this highly toxic recipe can be something that the average american can say to themselves "Sure lets legalize this drug so we can spread it to our kids". Mini notebooks

Most of the notebooks/computers that come from the factory/store dont have enough memory for my taste. For about $50 bucks you can get another 1gb memory module for it (It should have a open slot). That will help with performance a tad bit.
What kind of processor speed does it have Musichic? If you dont do graphics or play high resolution games you should be able to stick with the 1gb you have, and It will run fine. Otherwise this sounds like a good one. (no nasty Vista) TM |

The trailers show wolverine as a little boy with those metal implants. But it was already established in an earlier movie that the metal lining his bones and those metal claws were implants put in because of his mutations. His mutation was an amazing ability to heal which also seemed to slow down his aging process. Because of the efficiency of his cellular regeneration. Looks like they just want to keep changing his history and his mythology over and over and over. Okay, so he was originally supposed to be a brief, throw away character. But the popularity of the character made him a permanent character. You would at least think the movies would have kept the story they decided on in the first installment of the x-men. You are correct Moon, His mutation was greatly increased healing and his immunity to all forms of disease/sickness (hence why you see him in all the comic books constantly suckin on the stogies) The Weapon X series lines out that he was "Made" into Wolverine with the adamantium being added over his skeleton and his "bone claws". I am just glad they are putting him in his own movie with Gambit. They had a chunk of Xmen comics that they were at each others throats. (but with Wolverines temper Im not sure thats very tough) TM |
