It's common sense though, if anyone says "you deserve better than me", they either meet that exactly or they simply don't like you for what ever reason it may be.
No need to get defensive about it or take it personally, like others stated, it could be any number of reasons. At the end of the day these things happen & they obviously wasn't right for you, keep looking & maybe you'll find that special someone. |

I would imagine guys usually say stuff like that too avoid any drama. Either they just don't like you or aren't into you for what ever reason it may be, or the more logical reason is you're too high maintenance & most guys dont like high maintenance, it can be a very unattractive trait.

Forums are just the usual bunch of people, seem like a decent group (& some not so) that have known each other a while. Sadly there is not many real people on this site as romeo already stated, most are scammers, fake accounts or pervs. Not too mention if you want to chat with people locally, good luck with that as the majority here are from outside of the EU. |

yada yada yada.every site has scammers but majority of folks here are real. Every site does have scammers but Mingle2 has more than most due to it being free. I think most would consider the "majority" to actually be fake accounts rather than "real folks" on here. If you're actually looking for dating and something serious, it will take you a very long time to meet someone here unless you're super lucky. You will have a better chance of getting a date by using a paid for dating site but then again you will still get a ton of scammers & fake accounts. |
