I'm a weaver of sorts.

Creation's my best friend.

Some people look at me like I was Mork from Ork.
Never start any beef and don't eat pork.
Grew up thinking babies came from the stork.
I'm a Oakland single parent paying child support.

Report to work on time and rarely take a day off.
Don't get sick often, avoid people who sneeze & cough.
Scoff at the notion that policies can't be broken.
Life of the party & never been considered the token.

Quietly outspoken and nocturnal.
By daylight,
keep my shades drawn tight until it's no longer bright.
Thrive & feel so alive in the moons serene glow.
I fear not and roam were the goons rarely go.

I don't seek treasure
nor
measure all people by 1 persons doings.
Driven by pleasure like
the
Cheshire cat always having things brewing.

The sweetness life offers
has an unpredictable path & taste.
Some of our palates grow dull anticipating,
That's bad commentary & such a sad waste.

You can't tell the people what to do expecting them to understand.
You must lead by example no matter how exhausting.
We respect a person willing to lend a helping hand.
Hope together we can find a solution to stop the sky from falling.

How my heart
delved.....
....tried to give of itself

memories,
back through
to the 7's and 9's
eagerly my heart
held out
and hurled all
those "Here" and "Here" and "Here's"

But then I
didn't have
any follow through
when they

They wanted

My eager heart
tried to keep
