The wind blows outside tonight
Creating a symphony
Of snow covered
Wind chimes


I hear the clanging
Of the unlocked gate
As it tries to remind me
It needs to be secured tight

I can't see the moon

The clouds are running to fast

And my house is old.....

And it sways.....

Making my heart skip a beat

But I hold on

As I watch mother nature
Throw me a rim shot
Yet again

This time
She calls it winter

And she laughs

As she throws a snowdrift
At my face
