Thats a really good question that I have often wondered about.I haven't dated anyone older than me in a very long time. I do believe that maturity doesn't always have a lot to do with actual age. I guess it all comes down to the connection u share with someone,if it is strong then age shouldn't matter. thats true...ive dated girls my age that were less mature than girls that ive dated that were like 10 years younger than me |

the best one ive heard so far is this girl that said that she figures it out this way....you take your age, divide by two and add seven...thats as young as you should go...sounded kind of interesting...but is that right? Not a bad start! Being that my son is 16, that formula would certainly work for me, only I would add more than seven in my situation. Maybe like 12. 
yours would be 28 or 29 by those calculations....mine would be 23...but i do get younger girls on here chatting with me...ill talk to them...but if they get to immature i just ignore them...lol |

Try talking to them about common interests, that's how you start a conversation, and that is how you keep someone's attention. And about them not accepting your friend request, this isn't myspace, people don't just add you on here to build up a list. Most people add people they've talked to and consider "friends." I've had several friend requests that I rejected, why? Because I didn't know them! I don't care how long my friends' list is, I don't add people I don't know, and I don't add men simply because they think I'm cute. I don't care what I look like and neither should they. Talk to women in the forums, get to know them, ask questions, volunteer info about yourself, build a friendship before you try to call it one. I know you think we're being hard on you, but we're not, we're trying to help.
