the best one ive heard so far is this girl that said that she figures it out this way....you take your age, divide by two and add seven...thats as young as you should go...sounded kind of interesting...but is that right? that's the formula for calculating what is socially acceptable in terms of dating someone younger. and it's a pretty good approximation IMO. . . . I thought it was a pretty good formula...lol |

There isn’t a formula. There are, however, considerations. In my case, I won’t date a guy unless he can legally drink alcohol. After that then it’s about maturity, integrity, and whether they can stand on their own two feet. I’ve met guys older than me who are “a mess”; conversely, I’ve met younger guys who have it all together! It’s preference as well as having the same life goals. 
I tend to date guys 12-15 years younger. It works for me! 
so your saying i have a chance...lol

how old is too old or too young for dating each other...is there a certain distance between age that is right, whether the woman is the older one or the male is the older on in the relationship? would love to hear opinions on this I just wanna know one thing.....can the chick cook? Oh, and she can't be too young. I mean, I don't want to be watching Gossip Girl every week and then having to blog about it.

At this point, maybe just to break the ice, I should "show the girls" just to get it over with. Then onto the meaningful conversation I so desperately seek.

I think nudges from strangers are creepy, I think being added to a favorites' list by someone I've never talked to is weird, I reject friend requests from people I don't know, and unless I know the person from the forums, or they have a non-personal question, I don't answer emails. So you had a good idea- posting in the forums to get yourself known. I wish you luck.

Hmmmmm, I use a simple formula. Subtract the age of the person you are looking to be with from your own. Add 10. Multiply by 4. Reverse the two digits of the product then divide by pi.
Once you've done all this sit down have a glass of wine and say to yourself "I'll do it if it is legal, feels right, and works for the two of us." |
