I campaigned hard for Hillary; rang doorbells for her, made calls, the whole shebang. I probably won't vote. I just don't believe in either Obama or McCain, these two douchebags can duke it out amongst themselves, I've lost all interest.

Considering that the primaries were manipulated to get Hillary out of them so that McCain could win, I personally believe that all who would have voted for Hillary need to back Obama just so they do not get their wish.

Um...were we watching the same primary election? It was the DEMOCRATS who crucified Hillary and did her in. It was the liberal media that I used to support who daemonised her. Right-wing outlets like Fox News were left to defend Hillary's honour and point out how unfair the vitriolic hatred against her was. John McCain is gonna win alright, and the dems did it to themselves. They deserve to enjoy the doomed future they have created with their new charismatic cult leader. I will just sit back and watch.

The Republicans deserve to lose because of the doomed future they have created for this country with their charismatic cult leader George Bush Jr.

Bush said that Iraq , Iran and North Korea are axis of evil .
Some people think that Israel , Great Britain and the USA are axis of evil .
What do you think folks ?.

Bush is correct... we live in freedom.

Those other places live in fear & tryanny.

What do YOU think?

Israel, Great Britain and the USA have been guilty of great tyranny in the past, and are capable of even more great tyranny, so are other countries.

I guess it sometimes depends upon what side of the bombing you are on and how much 'collateral damage' there is.

Yes you are correct. Not only is your statement uninteresting but it is also wrong.

noway

and just for a change you are wrong too.

Adolf Hitler was emphatically not an atheist. As he said himself:

The folkish-minded man, in particular, has the sacred duty, each in his own denomination, of making people stop just talking superficially of God's will, and actually fulfill God's will, and not let God's word be desecrated.

For God's will gave men their form, their essence, and their abilities. Anyone who destroys His work is declaring war on the Lord's creation, the divine will. Therefore, let every man be active, each in his own denomination if you please, and let every man take it as his first and most sacred duty to oppose anyone who in his activity by word or deed steps outside the confines of his religious community and tries to butt into the other.

[...]

Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.

[Adolf Hitler, from "Mein Kampf," translation by Ralph Mannheim.]

So even from his own struggle, he says he is a christian

But then I cant see them having this level of intelligent conversation in Playgirl

Anyone politician or head of a country, including George Bush Jr., who says they are doing the 'work of the Lord' is a false prophet that should not be heeded.

If you go into marriage with no faith hope or trust in the union it will fail period. The problem with our society is that people don't want to work for any damn thing, just want things to be. Relationships are work and you have to try not just get ready for the inevitable.

Relationships are complicated enough.
Marriage makes it even more so.

I've heard of men or women signing pre-nups before a marriage in order for one spouse or the other to keep much of what they have in the case of an eventual divorce. Usually pre-nups happen only in cases where a lot of assets are held by one of the parties.

Why not go it a step further and make it apply to everyone getting married? Before any two people can marry, they would have to complete divorce papers. That way they would know, in advance, what will happen and what they stand to lose in the event one or both parties want out.

It would remove all of the materal squabbles and even set child custody and who pays the child support and/or alimony.

It would also make sure both parties clearly know what they're getting into and what they stand to lose. No surprises!

Best of all if a pre-marriage divorce agreement were required in every state, a lot of lawyers would be looking for new jobs!

If you have to go to all that trouble, why get married in the first place?

1. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan

Go on as usual with no clear end in sight.

2. Health Care

The Managed Care Organizations and other medical groups won't allow national health care because it's not profitable.

3. Education

Bigger class sizes, less learning, more dropouts.

4. Civil Rights

Better in some areas, worse in others.

5. Economy

Flip a coin.

6. Foreign Policies

Depends on who becomes President.

More saber-rattling and further isolation of the United States from the international community if McCain gets in.

In other words, 'my way or the highway'.

Less if Obama gets in.

Definitions from Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

Main Entry:
axis
Pronunciation:
\ˈak-səs\
Function:
noun

: a point or continuum on which something centers <an axis of social power>

Main Entry:
evil
Pronunciation:
\ˈē-vəl, British often & US also ˈē-(ˌ)vil\
Function:
noun
: something that brings sorrow, distress, or calamity

Whichever countries are so-called axes of evil depends upon the point of view of the person who pronounces it.

To George Bush Jr., Iraq , Iran and North Korea are axes of evil.

This hearkens back to Ronald Reagan calling the Soviet Union an 'Evil Empire'.

Why not Darfur, Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria?

It's nothing but government propaganda.

Who are the axes of evil now?

Not as long as there are kids that will get it from their older brothers or sisters.

I listen to Rush sometimes just for a laugh.

I can't believe anyone takes him seriously.

Perhaps he doesn't even believe half the bullcrap he spouts.

He's the clown prince of the Republican Party.

Maybe he's really a liberal in disguise.

I usually vote for the lesser evil.

I don't completely trust any candidate, because they can talk one way while they're campaigning, then when they actually get into office, they act completely different.

You might think this is cynical, but I've heard enough empty promises to make me cynical.

I'm still hoping that one day someone will come along that really represents the American people and not just the special interests and corporations.

Someone who comes from humble means like Abraham Lincoln did.

Someone who knows what it means to struggle and will help people who are struggling find a brighter day.

Until then, I will vote for the one I think will cause the least damage.
