thats what my dvr is for, I record my shows then I fast forward thru the commercials

What is a Commerical Fast forward threw them at least that's what i do record so you don't have to watch the commericals

I did it so much the mute button doesn't work anymore and I have to use the volume control, which takes a lot longer.

I set my dvr to not tape the commercials funny thing when I tape the Office it keeps the staples commercials
