Appreciate humanity moreso than I do currently, the last 8 years of my life I have despised the very foundation of what mankind calls life. This would be nihilism, perhaps the best example of it given my age. I've left behind a life that was either going to get me killed or in prison, for a life that I thought was better...but thus far I have been shown a side of humanity of which I have believed for the last 8 years to be true, ultimately worthless.

Sorry if this offends anyone, I do not intend that.

Add in the environment and the people associated within the environment and you get an equation that has nothing to do with you but more with chance. Life is never what you make it, it is what it is depending on situations and circumstances some of which not of your control (environment/surroundings).

If you feel this way than either your expectations of real life were totally off base or you have been incredidibly unlucky. There is so much crap that goes on out there, I totally agree. On the other side tho... there's decency, humanity, kindness, and love and respect. It's out there, I promise you. Keep looking...

There are some things that cant be controlled. But why get upset on things you cant control?

Steer your destiny to what makes you happy, keep negativity away and the thngs you cant control? Well, that is what it is...

Life is what I make it? I am happy with where I am, but I despise the rest of civilization on the basis of their inconsideration. I have made choices to better my life, I went through a recieved my GED, I have a job, social life could use work but I do have friends that I hang out with quite a bit...I have no problem, this is not what I see, I see the rest of the world with the problems. I look left, another person whom is only concerned with themselves, look right, another one. 1 out of every 10 people I see in a day makes the day brighter, 1 out of 10...so mathmatically 10 percent of the US's population actually cares about other people.

I don't really think he's talking about his own life needing help... he's taking about his overall disappointment in other people

Life is hard, no matter what the circumstance. Add to that, the appeal and/or necessity of danger/self-sacrifice and compound that with the disillusionment of what others scream to be a better life...yep, I feel you, Fear.

The only thing I can offer you, is that true humanity DOES exist...in places you may not expect. Keep believing and having that hope - I tell you, you will see it and experience it.

Keep giving of yourself without expectation of return, and you will have the peace and comfortability you seek.

This bothers you why? Society as a whole has major issues...

Surround yourself with the ones that satisfy your desires. The rest you simply dont have to associate with, that is the beauty of being human and having a choice
