The film business has been on a downward tailspin for the better part of a decade-and-a-half, thanks to immense greed on the part of the producers and corporate studios. This has essentially squeezed all the fun out of what used to be a "fun" business to be in.

I took the job I currently have because I care. But was smart enough not to give up my last job until I found the new one because I needed the paycheck.

I adore what I do. It pays the bills, so I'm lucky in that. I'm not independently wealthy nor would I ever be okay not working even if I were...... I need the mental stimulation my job provides. I also have the opportunity to assist in keeping dangerous people off the streets. So I do it more because I care than anything.
