some have saved money that will last until their kiddos hit school. others receive child support/disability/alimony/school loans, etc. some come from well-off families. however they manage, kudos to them. |

I'm single, not working, going to school, money wise I'm ok. I have chosen not to work my sons first year of life. I am not here looking for a father for my son, or someone to support me. I am very capable of making ends meet on my own. But I am still a woman, and like having a handsome guy around.

Why do you ASSUME they want you to support them and their children?
Maybe they are looking for a poor sucker to support and you look like a poor slob who could use some hel p!

I have always had to work, my daughter's whole life, even when I was still married. I have never had the luxury of staying home with my child.
If a woman has investments, a trust fund, lottery winnings, generous family, a home business or whatever that allows her to stay at home with her kids - why would anyone knock that? I would have done it in a heartbeat if I could have. I don't understand why you feel it has something to do with you. |
