Thanks! Leaving is hard but this new position is a natural progression from the one I have now...there are just no openings at my present company

I would write it as respectful as possible, then rubber band it to a brick and throw it through the front door of the business now is that any way for a business owner to be talking? |

Seriously, as some of the others have said, don't burn the bridges, be nice and cordial and just tell them you feel you have to do what is right for your family, and you do appreciate the time you were employed there. |

thank them for the time they invested in you, however your needs have changed and ask that should you have to seek employment- you would be considered again

as long as you give proper notice you are allowed to come back to the company...but when you leave for a competitor they walk you out but note and pay you for your notice time...I hate leaving my employees tho...ugh

ok back home now! I gave my notice at around 1015 this morning and he was real happy for me! Let me stay to tie up some loose ends, have lunch and then hug all 150 people good bye! My team was crying but I got a standing ovation and waves from everyone...made me feel so good!!
They could not counter since they do not have that position in the center. I get paid to stay home the next 2 weeks then all my vacation. Life is pretty sweet right now. The GM for my account invited me out to a fancy restaurant tonight to thank me for all my hard work. I thought that was pretty awesome! Tomorrow night all the agents are meeting me at applebee's. |
