I just realized something here. Theres alot of people in this thread that just came out to make fun of everyone and show how much better they are than everyone else. WTF. instead of advice ya'll gave crap. No wonder new people don't stay here long with the "your not one of us" mentality. 
We talk to people on the level on which they approach us. People who post intelligently get positive feedback. The entire world works that way. I've tried to have intelligent conversations on here with intelligent people, but it often gets ignored while they go on to debate "Obama's pastor says bad things!" forum, which is I stay up in the genral thread. And nobody can just instantly change themselvs and their views on the world over night. People say I need a back bone and stand up for myself but its not going to grow in me instantly. Also making fun of people isn't going to help them with their cause, its going to make them worse so instead of "why do nice guys finish last" thread there might be a "why dosn't anyone like me?" to come from the same person a week or so. |

I have never had a group of people make fun of any of my threads. I get mostly positive feedback from the things I say to people. Of course, not everyone agrees with me, but most people are civil. And I have NEVER had a thread where people ganged up on me. I think I can say the same for people I consider my friends on here. So if certain people keep getting the same reactions from the group, they may want to look inward and ask themselves why. PS - Intelligent posts don't work in the Current Event section. I found that out. Sorry, I should have added a disclaimer about that one.
