The number of crimes in which a handgun was used in England and Wales has risen from 299 in 1995 to 1,024 last year. Offenses committed with all types of firearms, including air guns, have also increased. That's an increase of 725 gun crimes in 11 years, a 242 percent increase. Britain already had strict gun control before the 1996 Dunblane, Scotland, school shooting, and in 1997 both Conservative and Labour governments pushed through fresh gun control legislation banning small caliber handguns. http://newsbusters.org/node/12267  and what do you think the real reason is for increased crime????

Guns are a weapon no matter how you look at it.....the gun laws or lack of them due to your constitution and your rights are how those criminals got their guns in the first place~~~ Walmart anyone???? 
Oh really, I guess that's why Washington, D.C. where guns are completely banned was the murder capital of the U.S. several years running. Once again your liberal socialist retoric don't hold water or stop bullets.

Can kill as easy with a knife, so do we take away knives? I am permited to carry, have drawn my weapon twice, never had to use it. If I hadn't had it, me & mne might not be here. Proper use of weapons, IS a NECC. thing. The improper one's are the problem.

The fact is that violent criminals already have guns and they’re not going to give them up. Gun control laws are about as effective at preventing violence as prohibition was at preventing alcoholism.

I have the right to protect my family, regardless of what I use. Whether it be a gun, knife, fork, or yes...even a spoon. (I would figure out a way) I know how to use it properly and have been trained....
Crime is performed the people who perform it, if there were no guns at all there would be plenty of stabbings. To try and simply say that crime is high and commited because of guns alone is just absurd |
