I'm not sticking up for what the guys saying, but I WILL say this: Not responding is just rude. If you're not interested, tell them. If you get too many responses to reply to all, make a copy-paste general purpose message. Nice guys tend to lose their niceness after being ignored over and over. From experience, I'll tell you that if I were to send a message to 30 women (just guessing here), I might get 1 reply back. Those odds are just inexcusable. The reply doesn't have to be "oh you're so cute!!!" it could be "sorry, you're a dork" and still better than no reply at all.
I agree. I respond to all unless it's really nasty, & then I am sure they know why. "Nice rack" or "wanna cyber?" will be ignored if I am in a good mood, if I am in a bad mood, you will wish I had just ignored it. Have you really recieved an E-mail that says, nice rack? What are they, clothes shopping? I got that all the time when I had a picture posted. I'm surprised that you don't get any now, that say, nice wings... or nice thighs... Lol. A few but I get very little at all, even though I am pretty active in the forums. I think most guys here are just looking at the photos, even though they SAY they want a nice girl....

I'm mainly talking from experience from other dating sites, this one seems pretty good so far. Honestly, though, a lot of the "no response" thing can probably be attributed to fake profiles. Not all of them, but probably a lot of them. funny how i still haven't gotten an email to NOT reply to lol |

All that is needed is one [ quote] and the [/ quote] (spaces inserted here so it'll show up. Please? It's so much easier to read...

The problem is, if you truely are a nice guy... a gentleman persay... Then you always let the woman initiate contact/interest... Lol. So, it's kinda a falacy, To expect a response back, when you say you're a nice guy. A real nice guy, wouldn't pressure a girl to respond, or even attempt first contact... Lol. That's why most nice guys finish last. I think that most women, are looking for a nice guy, that's willing to take a chance on running a crack or two, thru the nice guy act, to take a chance on them, more then on ruining their nice guy "persona". Lol... could just be talkin out my nice guy A**.... Just wanted to respond, even if it was with what seem people might deem as drivel. and to expound on this... If you were really a nice guy, you wouldn't be complaining about it. You would do things to be "nice" and expect nothing in return. Being nice does not entitle you to anything. It does not entitle you to any response from me. If you really just wanted to be "nice" you would say "Don't you look lovely today" and that would be the end of it.... you would expect nothing in return. |
