Topic: Stand by your man...... | |
---|---|
Loretta Lynn sang this song, and I believe it to a point.
But at what point is too much to stand by someone? If you see them doing things to disbarage themselves? If you see them commit a crime? How much is too much to stand by someone? To me, if someone will victimize people for you, they will do it to you..... |

loretta lyn is my aunt by marriage as my uncle was married to her 2nd cousin.
i like that song. but yea if i had a man i would stand behind him, but not if he was charged with rape, murder, if it was something simple nothing big, then yea i would stand behind him. i had a bf when i was 16 he was 18 he got in trouble prior of me meeting him, as it had to do with a ex gf brother and he got in trouble for burgerlery. and he took his punishment for that. |

What about women who are straight up told that their men are cheating who don't believe the person telling them and make the union with their man stronger....and shoot the messenger? It is unfortunate. However, we also need to consider the source of the information. Are they reliable? Do they have personal integrity? Might they have ulterior motives? Often, when someone is warned, it is most likely true. However, it can be overwhelming for some, so they choose to ignore the signs. Their own reality - and the good intentions of others. |
