Um, she sold your phone number. The solicitation phone calls should start this week. Storm gutters. Windows. Life insurance. Driveway sealing. Seattle suttons healthy eating and home delivery. Roofing contractors. Cable tv installation. Predatory home loan vendors. Internet service providers. Interior decorators. Stanley steamer carpet cleaner. Etc. Etc. Etc........
lol......rightttttt

A week is fine for a phone number...it's not like you were asking to father her children!

Ask yourself...if I had meet someone in a public space and thought they were cute and looked interesting, would I give them my phone number? If the answer is yes, then why would a week seem too scary?

I personally like to have the phone number after few great IM sessions. If I truly like the person I want to know them as soon as possible...If it turns out I don't like them, well, I haven't wasted months of my time on someone who didn't work out.

I have found a certain sense of mystery and anticipation with just e-mail and IM which is fine, but if you let it build too long you run the risk of a bigger disappointment, if you know what I mean.

I dunno. I think a week is cool if you were both into each other. I think you should email her and ask. Maybe it is too soon to meet but a phone call should be ok.

I do agree that one week is too short. Maybe you should talk for like 5 years or something, then MAYBE she may actually want a phone call. Then in another 10, you can meet at the nearest McStarbucks.

Good one! I just believe you can't get to know someone online. It's easier for them to lie to you. Plus, a physical attraction is always important, and I think someone's voice and conversational skills are a big part of that.

i don't think a week is too quick, I met a few girls from online, I have been with a girl for 2 months now and we met after talking for maybe 3 days online. I don't think it's a big deal.

I have been emailing back and forth with this woman, and after about a week...I asked her if she wanted to meet and hang out sometime and gave her my phone number...but no calls or emails since then. Is one week too soon to ask someone if you share commom interst to meet that person?

It depends. I always let the lady make the first move as far as exchanging numbers, or asking to meet in person.
