How can you ever expect someone else to enjoy your company if you dont enjoy your own company? Do you treat yourself the way you would want other people to treat you? In relationships its important to first understand who's coming into the relationship and not just your partner but you as well. you need to understand yourself first before you can understand them. In all seriousness... thanks for posting this thread....

I rant on about the same topic all the time...

All these people stumbling around damaged, looking for someone to rescue them fix them, or worse to abuse....

and none of them are prepared to do the work themselves...

I find it rather ironic, that there are comments made about all of these faults and issues the potential new partner cannot have... but most are glaringly full of them themselves.

All this talk of great love, but most expect it to come from outside themselves, with no work on their part.
