This subject is like opening a can of worms.It has been fused over & hotly debated since this site began.Many valid points are being made here.Also if I may add I have been deceived by someone who was posting a high school pic,when in reality the person was 56yrs.old.Deception can come in all shapes,forms & packages.A blue box is ugly quite frankly,but I'm O.K.w/her using a default pic if there's a legitimate reason.If & when U progress beyond stage 1,U both can easily exchange pic.'s,etc.
Personally;I pulled my pic.because the site is not verifying my e-mail,so I certainly don't want my pic.@ this site indefinitely because I can not re-gain access to the site.Godspeed!CyPoet

well yes there is the physical attraction that must be there and it has to go both ways..on some level..But also SAFETY is another for me...I'm not a vain person..But I want to know who to look for before I will agree to meet them.So if I can't see you before hand..I won't do it..

take those feelings you experienced while visualizing those situations and multiply them by ten. That's how women feel. They are a lot more sensitive to their emotions.

I'm not impressed by the clip art. Also, I realize the pics may, or may not be current. As for knowing or being attracted to the person inside, it just doesn't work that way. We're hard wired to subconciously, if not outright conciously, look for certain physical traits in a potential mate.
When I walk into a room filled with strangers,and happen to find someone who's attractive to me, I'm then naturally willing to send and recieve the subtle signals to find out if that person is attracted to me too, and thus pursue closer intimacy.
Eleanoor Roosevelt was a fantastic Lady...she had amazing charms and a wonderful heart...doesn't mean I'd want to date her though...call me shallow if you like. I think I'm just realistic...

I would agree, If your not willing to show at least one pic, I'm not going to waste my time. I'm not shallow but it would be nice to know who I'm talking too
