What's that old song..............Alone Again, Naturally? It's getting to where being alone does seem to come naturally. Sux. For an old crone like me it's not unusual. But I keep wondering why so many good looking (and apparently very personable) women on JSH are alone. Doesn't make sense to me. Do you live in neighborhoods where the only men are gay or stupid? I can't understand it. Doesn't reflect well on my gender.

i've always been alone for valentine's day... but for whatever reason i kind of secretly love it... i would never want roses or anything cliche like that but i love doing fun things like sending cards to my best friends a la when we were in elementary school and i spent forever decorating a shoebox "mailbox" for v-day cards.
but as much as i love the simple gestures.. it is always somewhat depressing.. |

Yknow, if it makes you feel any better I've never had a "Valentine". I've decided that being the Valentines Day Grinch is more fun than making smoochy faces at some guy I'm gonna dump or have him dump me a month later anyway.

Since I've been alone more valentine's days than in not,I don't really feel too bad. But It kind ok bits too.

Yep im gonna be one of them...im not really feeling bad for myself but it is the first one in many years that i wont have someone to share it with. Anyone else gonna be solo on Valentines day? Im thinking i might just hide in a corner

Valentine's day is nothing, but a Corporations way to make money by commercializing it, you don't need to pick a certain to to show someone that you love them, you can do that every day , every hour, every minute, every second.
Seriously just think about it, who wins on valentines day? The corporations. |

The corporations. yeah...try telling that to the countless singles struggling through this coming holiday as they watch others enjoying what they so desperately want. meaningless words to those of us who cringe at thought of a holiday thats geared to point out the fact that we are unsuccessful in our attempt to have what a fair part of the population, gets to enjoy and takes for granted... |
