A few extra pounds verses heavy set, any guidelines here?

I'd say all in how the person thinks of themself. Kinda hard to put a set guideline on something like that, everyone has their own opinion.

that's a good question.. according to my height, im 'overweight' ...however, when i tell people how much i weigh, they're shocked, i don't look as tho i would..i 'hide' it well according to them.. i marked 'average' in my profile, cuz my body size IS average what exactly is 'a few extra pounds'??

I googled this and here is what I found Dictionary: heavyset(hĕv'ē-sĕt') adj. Having a stout or compact build. Then I googled a few extra pounds and found that new studies are coming out stating that a few extra pounds are good for you. GO FIGURE, pun not intended

A few extra pounds verses heavy set, any guidelines here? not really sure myself, how does one carry extra pounds, if it's on my body it's not extra, it's part of my body... heavy set - neither as I dont consider myself heavy... I consider myself to be pleasingly plump.. lol

Some people with perfect body's will put "average" some people with average body's will put "athletic" some will put a "few extra pounds" and they are heavy set. My point is, if that's as far as someone's going to get when they read a profile then they need to move on anyway. The greatest thing about talking to people over the internet is you get to meet them from the inside out.
