Hmmm... when did THAT start? A few minutes ago the site was lagging REAL bad, I wonder if that's when they implemented the new ad thing. Personally I don't mind 'em. Any way to keep the site free and provide income for the folks running the show is alright by me. What does everyone else think?? |

personally, i dont like it. i think they are already throwing too many our way. i know it is to help keep it free, but gee whizz!! i hate ads the way it is! i felt the foruns was the only way to escape them....apparently not.

I think we ought to be super careful with our "mice" so as not to accidentally go "click" and infect our computers hopelessly with porn!
If we do that then we can't be here on JSH!! When I saw these ads I had to laugh.... It is not unlike a slice of Maxim Magazine shoved in there. |

As far as I can tell the banner ad thing just started a few minutes ago. I don't recall seeing 'em over the last hour or two. But then I'm no detective...
MsTeddy you might want to shut off your browser window and restart. There may be some graphics variable that needs to be reset on your computer. Although I have to say mine is working just fine now. Windows XP pro with Firefox v2 here. |

It's a bad idea, the ads at the top are alright, but over use of ads can do alot more harm than good. I think they should get rid of it, or atleast not have it show up for members that are logged in. |

How on earth do you "accidentally click" on the ads?? 
I don't go clicking around in the threads... the "Reply" button is pretty easy to find and the "Quote" link is a fairly small target. Nah, I don't care for the ads but they're easy enough to ignore. As long as they don't start putting in those stupid Pop-Ups or worse those infernal mouse-over expanding ads I'll maintain my blood pressure level. |
