The ads are new - we're testing them to see if we can generate some additional revenue from the site. There shouldn't be any other impact to the site though. If you're seeing any issues on the website, try hitting the "Refresh" button on your browser. That should fix any problems related to the new ads. I know the ads are slightly annoying, but we need to make money from the site somehow! My daughter needs to eat 
If they are not generating any significant additional revenue, I promise we'll remove them. But if they are, we may need to keep them in place. Sorry for the inconvenience - we'll keep you posted! Well we appreciate the feedback. But for goodness sake there are hot men out there too .......... where are THEY??????????

Well *I* think we should ALL click on at least five ads a day to help generate some $$ for Mike and the crew here. Never bite the hand that feeds you ya know?? And Lex I'se shore glad ya lik my spelin! No wate... yew was talkin' 'bout them ads werncha? Ha, the humor of it all... finally proper spelling and it's a scam!

Nah the ads don't bother me in the least. The site has to make money to survive, Besides, i'm friends with Mike and if he says his daughter needs food then thats the way it is.... Don't make me come down there lol. Really folks it's not that annoying, If it keeps the site going then we still have a place to enjoy our friends. I suppose my friends are a little more important to me than a simple banner. In fact, a lot of you are.

Yup. My screen is waaaaay to bright. Another change is that when I click on lets say "1" then I only see two and three. If I click on 2 then there is only one and three. I mean when there is more than one page.
It is bothering me to see the ads in between the posts. It is VERY aggravating. If I wanted to look at girls in bibinis, I would buy a book. Or watch HBO or SHOW TIME. I hope they find another way to make money. These ads are annoying me. I know, I know...it's free. But...I am not interested in half naked women. Kat |

I'm amazed at the people whining and crying about the ads here. When everything is going fine then no one thinks about the $$ the site operators are pouring into this venture.
As far as the types of pictures in the ads how come no one complains about the racy stuff people post as their picture on their profiles?? All the women with the lingerie-wearing cartoons (  ?!) and all the shirtless guys trying to be studly...
Then again what the hell am I talking about? This is an internet forum... it's not supposed to make sense. |

Actually if if they are a bit bothersome at the moment give it a few days. You will get use to it and want even notice them. Like most things when you get use to it being there all the time you no longer pay attention to it. Not like they are that bad. Hummmmmm sooooooooooooooooooooooo when are we going to get more emontions we take the ads give us some more toys to play with hehehhe

That's not going to affect the banner ads on the page. They're not popups, they're just part of the page itself. Now if they WERE popups then I'd be griping too. Or those ANNOYING mouse-over roll-out ads. Good LORD how I hate those things! I like the sponsor idea! This could become like NASCAR! Everybody with stickers and hats and such... Whew whatta ride! |
