if you met someone here and really hit it off would you relocate or
would you expect them to relocate? |

wow big question. That would depend on the situation and who is "locked
into their community" I know at my age things like retirement come into play and I still have the same friends I made in grade school. It would have to be a sure thing for me to let that go and move as i'm sure there would be important things to him that I would have to take into consideration. |

Wow that would be a hard question...I have a son that is a senior and he
would want to finish school here and so would my other son. I think you would have to weigh it out and see who would be giving up more. Usually the man doesn't have his children living with him..sometimes he does but not usually, so as far as children goes, the man wouldn't have to take kids out of the school district. Plus you would have to consider who has the best paying job and who would be giving up the most on that. Yikes, I don't know if I would want to give up everything I have...it would have to be a very very strong relationship!! |

it would be pretty tough unless one of them had a job that would
transfer them. the property you can sell but the job and the friends would be the tough part for most people i think |

I would gladly relocate for the right person and if they lived in a proper area for me. I am country and can not stand to hear cars driving by the house. I end up staring out the window wondering if they are pulling in the drive. My other big issue is with my injuries I can not stand the cold. You would have to live in the south. I say southern KY is about as far north as I would go. My kids would hate to move but I did when I was 10 and they will adjust and make new friends. I would prefer the south east over the south west as I like playing in water(fishing, catching native small fish for tanks, ect). It could even be a mutual move. Like we both pack up and move to a different location. I have thought about going to Biloxi and see if I could find work in a casino as I have worked with vending machines some and I have seen the inside of those slot machines and think I could do the work with a small amount of training. Biloxi area inland 30 miles was not to terribly tore up and this or even farther inland is where I would like to live. So If there was something like this where both parties could move it may even be better. |

that's a good idea both parties meeting in the middle. have you ever
been around the mississippi delta regoin of arkansa? that's where i was planning on heading. it has good hunting and fishing, boating and a section of the ozarks runs through there. i can't wait |

King..I know you are from Michigan...where abouts in Michigan?
I would love to work in a casino...we have a few casino's here in Indiana at Michigan City, I have been there a few times..but I am not a big gambler. |

Oh ok, I go to Coldwater every so often. Thats not to far into Michigan,
about a 90 minute drive for me. I thought you had a few casinos up that way...we have 3 right there together. Have a good night I am off to bed :) |

I am not a gambler as such. I love to go to the casinos though and we used to make the trip once or twice a year. Go in with $40-50 and expect to loose it all. This way it is about having fun and not trying to win that jack pot so you never have to work again, LOL. I love the cheap roulette tables(quarter and half dollar with 2-5 dollar minuim bet on the table so you can spread your money). Other than that it is the nickle slots. In reality it is hard to loose all your money playing these cheap games in a couple hours so we normally left with half our money. It is hard to beat the excitement and fun for the amount of money invested as long as you are not going for the big bucks. But I have not lost money yet on roulette. We always seemed to loose the money gained there on black jack as the ex hated roulette we had to move around. The Ozarks would be a good place to live I believe. I have only passed through that area once and I was like 6yo. I think it is far enough south but I would consult a planting guide for zones. I know the middle of the country has a dip of lower zones a bit deeper into the south so it may get a bit to cold for me. |

If I met a great guy that was serious I would relocate but not right
away. I would expect that he would move here until I finish school. Then since he did it for me, I would not have a problem doing it for him later. Good things come to those who wait. |

i haven't even been thru there since about 82. all i remember is it was
hot aS HELL in the summer and i loved it. i get bored easy and i wasn't bored the whole summer. i'm too tight with my money so i don't gamble but i did go to vegas after 9/11 and i saved up for i went to play without caring if i lost (it was saved to spend). lol i lost it all, came home with 36 cents in my pocket but i didn't regret it. i won't do it again but i don't regret it LOL |

THEY DO COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT TOO . THE ONLY REASON I ASKED IS BECAUSE
THERE SEEM TO BE ALOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE LOOKING FOR LONG TERM AND IT IS A SERIOUS COMMITMENT TO MAKE TO SOMEONE YOU HAVEN'T MET IN PERSON BUT MAYBE A COUPLE TIMES(HYPOTHETICALLY) BY THE TIME A DECISION LIKE THIS WOULD BE MADE HOW ARE YOU DOING BY THE WAY |
