Well My Dear Rapunzel i am the last of a dyin breed a superhero to some and the envy of others. I have stood up for people more then i do for myself for that is the way i was raised. I am a better man for bein here in Iraq cause its quite humbling in ways. "you dont know what you hace til its gone" well bein here has taught me that and how to value the life you have. But Growin up Momma told me "ever mind those around you for a friend is better then noone at all. She told me of respect for others and those who served. I was know to all the homeless in Pheonix Az for i gave them a warm meal or the money to get one. I have met few like me and even fewer women who like a man like me. And thanx to those who post here for all my Brothers and sisters in Arms. Wiccan Dear William....  
I read this post of yours yesterday, but wanted others to have a chance to read this & respond too ... You are a good man, one of the rare breed of high caliber men and it takes those of us women who are also of a rare breed to be able to recognize, value & fully appreciate you... I hear you are coming home soon, buddy... 
I'm so happy to hear that ...
Be careful in all that you do and everywhere you go ~

I wanted to post this I got this email this morning from my dear friend Dan,
Family and friends, Sorry I have not communicated much info lately; however we have been slammed with missions, and not to mention our internet was down for almost 10 days. Can you pray for my unit; we lost an American Soldier yesterday. Please pray for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) 2-327 Infantry (No Slack) and there families. Some have requested a pic, so I tried, but its very diffucult with our internet. Keep in touch. -- 2LT, Daniel U.S. Army Samarra, Iraq Please pray for his safe return home and mission for all our soldiers..And please pray for the families of the fallen.. |

Rapunzel, what your doing with this thread is great. I lost uncles in WW2, and support our troops no matter what. If not for them we wouldn't have all that we do!!!

without all of us helping out somehow
I also lost 2 uncles in WWII
my Dad's Brother
21 year old "Louie"
& my Mom's favorite Uncle
19 year old "Joe"
My Dad served in World War II
My Brother Michael & Cousin Stan
were in the Marines
during the Vietnam War
i know lots of People who were in various wars
: I also have many Awesome Friends in the War Now, too
