Thank you, Rapunzel!! My son is overseas. I miss him terribly, but am sooooo proud of him. My daughter-in-law is over there too, but is on her way home!!! She should be here Monday!! ahhh... thank you for checking in dear Lady .... i can only imagine what it is like to have your children and family overseas in the war I know you must miss them terribly without words great enough to even describe i have a very great friend there now and I do miss him dearly, too all we can do is love them and pray for them and support them and hope for better days.... My son-in-law is in Iraq. Just got back lasst Feb. from Afganistan, and the year before that a tour in Iraq and the year befor that Korea. Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts that come from you all. I thank you, my daughter thanks you, and my grandchildren thank you

However...I started this for my Soldier Friend & for everyone in every branch of the Military and for the families and loved ones of our Troops

What a beautiful offer for you to make my eyes are so filled with tears right now, i can barely see... you are just so kind.... you just sense where the needs are & you just go.. i've been battling these injuries for years... I had another thread, too and had to pass that on i love the soldiers with all my heart & I love so many of you here... it is so painful to stay, yet it is even harder to go yet my life is not balanced & my body is suffering so .. sooo, yes, i am totally honored for you to be here it does my heart so good to see everyone's love and willingness to help ...i can't thank you enough i won't be able to stay away , but you surely may be here and post what you like as often as you wish.. And of course, Lurch, you are most Welcome too, Bro But, you knew that already, didn't you , though ??? so, i am still crying from all of this love thankful for good friends from God up above

This is just a reminder that the men and women that protect us here and overseas don't look at themselves as doing anything special they are just doing the job they were put here to do.
