I totally understand. At times you do need someone to talk to. Try looking at it this way you may be having a BAD day but at least you are alive and have a chance to change the situation. When you least expect it your son will show you how much he appreciates what you do for him.

I'm so sorry you are struggling right now. It is a very rough row to hoe raising children alone, then add disabilities and it seems like a never-ending uphill battle. My youngest has multiple disabilities so I *DO* understand your situation, the pain, loneliness, exhaustion with the battle. Just know you are not alone and, yes, you WILL get through this and come out the other side healthier, stronger and more vibrant than thought possible and through it all your son will become the young man who recognizes what you do for him and realize how little he appreciated and respected all you've done for him. Have faith. Email me anytime hun...CJ |

I'm sorry you are going through this by yourself. Raising a child alone is hard enough, I can only imagine how hard it is raising one with a learning disability. Not to mention you raised another one at the same time? You are obviously a lot stronger than you think. Give yourself some credit. You have done something on your own that many parents fail to do together. He will thank you one day for all that you have done.
Now take him to a park wit a hill that has a soft landing at the bottom and push him down it. I do this to my daughter all the time. Just kidding of course. |

I raised my three as a single parent when thier mom decided to leave us. They drove me crazy, but also reminded me of who I am and why i'm here. I love them all very much and they tured out fine. one is married with children, one is starting a family and the youngest is starting college. I am very proud of them all. They helped me grow as an adult as much as I helped them grow into adults. Don't give up. The rewards are far to great!
