I will not cut and paste all there is on Hillary's articles and records but this site has some of them for you if you care to look. http://www.ontheissues.org/Hillary_Clinton.htm I don't care about the bush/clinton comparison, Hillary is still the best bet for 2008. again, WHHHHHYYYY do you think she is??? no wonder why you like her so much, you guys are the same way! i dont want to read about them, i know what she wants to do..i want her to explain how she plans to do so however. and i would like you to stand up for her and her issues by telling me about them..you obviously dont know what she is for and against and is just saying hillary is good...hillary is good...for the 4th time, tell me why you believe that. why is it so complicated??? to everyone reading this, look at the people who are voting for hillary, they can't even back their favored candidate up. A person who has done their homework and knows the best bet and says it is the best bet is considerably better than those who have not done theirs and want others to do their homework for them. You need to read, you do read, right? I had to read to get to the conclusion she is the best bet for 2008. You will have to read to determine your opinion also. Hillary is the best bet out of all candidates for 2008. ahh dirty debating..cheap shots. yes sir, i do read. and no i dont want to hear about hillarys opinions anymore..i dont care for them, i dont care for what she's about, and i dont care for her political strategies either, so i can tell you now i will not vote for her..im not asking you to do MY homework, but rather YOUR homework. you can say you like something but you cannot back it up. and uneducated voting as far as i'm concerned, and it's your kind bringing our country down. but you're right, i am entitled to my opinion and believe me, i express it. but i just wish you could do the same. please please tell me WHY you like hillary, that's all i want to read, mostly because i CAN read. jerk I disagree and I will not do your homework about the candidates for you and I will not be called names by a little sprout who doesn't know anything of importance yet. So cool it or reap the benefits. If you don't like being called names don't call others names then. It's so pathetic seeing older people act like such babies. |

The only thing I don't like is that she supports abortion, but at the same time I feel that people are also wrong for criminalizing it. That is a subject that I, personally feel is up to each individual and is up to them if they can live with themselves for it. I wouldn't do it, but thats me. You are right in your ideals hold to them, nothing wrong with them at all Abortion is a personal choice and if you would not then don't. |

I do not like plagerism or copy and paste...lol, but I will so you can read it. This site that Dragoness posted has all the issues and how they are backed by each candidate.
# 1974: pro-choice fervency not based on any personal abortion. (Jul 2007) # 1993 health plan included RU-486 & widely available abortion. (Jul 2007) # 1999: keep abortion safe, legal & rare into next century. (Jul 2007) # Lift ban on stem cell research to cure devastating diseases. (Jun 2007) # 1993:Early action on abortion rights ended Right's dominance. (Jun 2007) # Abortion is a sad, tragic choice to many women. (May 2007) # Fought for years to get "Plan B" contraceptive on the market. (Dec 2006) # Respect Roe v. Wade, but make adoptions easier too. (Nov 2006) # Prevention First Act: federal funds for contraception. (Oct 2006) # Alternatives to pro-choice like forced pregnancy in Romania. (Nov 2003) # Must safeguard constitutional rights, including choice. (Oct 2000) # Late term abortion only if life or health are at risk. (Oct 2000) # Remain vigilant on a woman’s right to chose. (Jan 2000) # Keep abortion safe, legal and rare. (Jan 1999) # Being pro-choice is not being pro-abortion. (Jan 1999) # Reach out to teens to reduce teen sex problems. (Jan 1999) # Supports parental notice & family planning. (Feb 1997) # Cairo Document: right to abortion but not as family planning. (Sep 1996) Again, I'm so against it for myself, but she is also for making contraceptives more available and trying to minimalize the need for such drastic measures. |

Youngsters, anyway, I still believe Hillary is the best bet for 2008. I do not have to defend my opinion, I read up on all the options available and she is best. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear but I do not cater to others unless I want to. I have for a few but not tonight. Not here and not for those who will not do their own work on it.

I hate people who can't civially converse about politics. Sure I get a bit heated- my father is a politician so I do have a big backround and I have many friends in the service.
It just bothers me when someone can't converse in a civil manner- reguardless of age. and being called "child" is not something I take kindly to. I'm from NJ- I have a damn attitude and I show it, oh the hell well. If you don't like it, my bad. |

I feel that we each have the right to back who we like, and thats that. I also feel that getting all heated up about it is rather silly, since we know that whoever wins is going to still be a lying politician.

It just bothers me when someone can't converse in a civil manner- reguardless of age. You come calmly, and as will the others. You've not exactly spoken like an adult throughout this thread either, as I'm sure I've showed my age a time or two also. Dismissing me, simply b/c I don't like to watch TV.. I DO read the paper darling, quite religiously. I prefer to read my information, and though I have a hard time explaining it back, it sticks with me more than if I watch it on TV. This is not me attacking you either, simply how you've come across to me, personally. I'm sure you're a very smart young woman, so lets show ourselves as such. |

Again, I must copy and paste to explain where I agree with her:
Hillary's stance on Drugs: * Reduce sentencing disparity for crack, but not retroactively. (Dec 2007) * 1969: held herself aloof from college drug counterculture. (Jul 2007) * Divert non-violent drug offenders away from prison. (Jun 2007) * Address drug problem with treatment and special drug courts. (Oct 2000) I've seen the drug courts and treatments work on very close friends of mine. She supported it, and with doing so saved some very important people in my life. |
