Sorry have to call bull**** when I see it.. best strategy is a nice try but well doesn't say much for a person... Ok...lets try to reason this out...consider this hypothetical... You're at a bar...you see a good looking guy... and you believing yourself to be good looking as well, sit and wait for the guy to introduce himself. Now, when he doesn't you assume that it must be because he's intimidated by your striking beauty, ok isn't it possible that another woman has caught his attention...and now he's just more interested in the other woman? I am never ever conceited enough to call myself beautiful.. If a man is not interested he's not.. Of course he may be interested in someone else.. BUT I also would never say "why tie myself down with one when there are so many gorgeous men".. Not verbatim but still a very egotisitical comment that I say waivers on "intimidation of being rejected"... but hey it's all good... |

Its not egotistical...when its true.

j13 makes some excellent points there.
Indn it's a mix of things. You're a very attractive lady and that is intimidating to a lot of guys. Another assumption that goes with that is "She's GOT to already have a guy". The "approachable" thing j13 mentioned is a big one. If I notice a lady in the produce aisle who's gorgeous but seems focused on picking out a good cumquat I'm not going to walk up and bother her. If she looks me in the eye, smiles, and nods hello then you bet I'm going to make an offhand icebreaker comment. Don't YOU drop the ball either! I've been talking to women who seemed interested but a little nervous but after the first few minutes all I got was single syllable answers to anything I said. C'mon here! You gotta hold up your end of the conversation. If you're not asking some questions or at least smiling and making eye contact I know you've lost interest and I'm moving on with my life. I'm not gonna bust my ass and chase you without SOME kind of encouragement or indication the feelings are mutual. Sure you're good looking and intelligent and funny and charming. So am I. You chase ME for a while! |

approach a woman in a public setting if you found her attractive or would you be intimidated? If one wouldn't, why would one be on here? Or perhaps that's the reason. The more attractive they are, the easier it is for me, and I ain't ever been a purty boy, but I'm smart and whatever I say to her, she and I both know that compliment is the truth. Sincerity is always in style. Whoever the woman is, if she's unable to acknowledge a sincere compliment, she ain't worth thinking about. So, yeah, I'd do it, but sorry . . . California is too far away for a po' boy to visit. I'm limiting my first JSH visit to 1000 miles and that's unfortunate 'cause . . . well, you know. And I ain't even lookin' for love; I'm lookin' for lifelong compatriots and buds. |

Its not egotistical...when its true. Now, now children. Let's have our first lesson. Egoistical is your opinion of yourself. Egotistical is when you express this. |

Now, now children. Let's have our first lesson. Egoistical is your opinion of yourself. Egotistical is when you express this. I think you meant EGO is your opinion of yourself.... but the point is a good one. Unfortunately "fantastical" is eerily close to "egotistical" in many cases... |

Well maybe I should restate what I already said. I did ask a woman out that I worked with that I thought was rather attractive but every time I went to get her number since I was more worried about trying to get the balls so to speak to ask her out, then when I finally asked her out she didn't say no at all but I went back to get her number and was given the run around and before I knew it she left a week or two there afterwords.
I would have taken a bigger tip if she would have said no instead. So I guess that is why I really do not bother any more with asking any other woman out, I guess I just don't like getting the run around or not hearing the rejection so fast as I would like or have wanted to. Either way if some people could be up front and honest then run around the truth and not say one way or another it would be nice. |

Ok all jokes and envious banter aside...the bottom line is this.
Why worry about what the other person is doing or NOT doing? If you Idrn feel like guys are passing you by...then be more aggressive. Go up to a guy you like and start a conversation...you know women have equal rights...use em. Don't always wait for the guy to choose you. You choose the guy. AS for me...i don't have problems attracting women...but for you guys that do...just be yourself. You'll find you are much more sure of yourself then. But anyway I just come to these sites cause i like f***kn' with y'all. PeAcE. |

Wait, first, when I read your the voice in my head was growly gravel like one of those wrestlers. So, anyway, if that pic is you (and I'm a tough fightin' SOB mind you) then I'll agree with whatever you have to say. Buddy. . . friend of mine . . . Homey, where ya been? Her loss, huh? |
