I've reached out to one of the owners but he never replied.. tried him on linkedIn too.. nada.. they don't seem to want to spend any money NOR invest in any upgrades so.. I assume we got what we got and that's it..

I can't spend my money on a paid membership for what we have. Currently, there is very little value here.

I assume some group owns Mingle and should be responsible for the content. Is there a way to get them to make some improvements to what are multiple problems? Some of this is so easy to fix if you have a willingness to do it.
As bad of a job as they are doing here, it is almost like they want the scammers here. They would rather do upgrades like the "Popularity Meter" that does nothing...lol |

@GRB
With the number of obvious scammer and fake profiles on here, it is like they are purposefully not doing much about them. Like they are almost allowed here. I would not be surprised to pull back the curtain to find a scammer group running this site and just kicking off the scammers that are not part of their group.

It is showing what you are doing, if it was for being popular then it should register like how many people liked your profile or something... |

the meter says "popularity" but it is based on what you do.. you have to "like" 10 users to get 10 pts.. then another 20 to get another 10 pts etc.. kinda ridiculous if ya ask me.. and it resets every 48 hrs.. so yeah.. it shud be an "activity" meter lol

and it resets every 48 hrs.. Have you tested it? I did when they first put it in and even not logging in for a few days it stayed the same. I did not even lose any while in the Mingle Jail...lol I think it is stuck at the highest you go or something...lol

nope.. never tested it.. all I know is mine stays pretty much at the lowest cuz I don't "like" anyone
I always close those pop-up's with the X or "later" buttons..

The majority of scam calls come from Florida, Illinois and New Jersey.

Most scammers live in US cities or towns, no one ever heard of....but they are based in Nigeria or some other country....in my experience...

It seems like all the countries are jumping on the scamming band wagon. China has government sponsored scamming centers, India is a growing scammer area also. But most of the big scammers are going for the big money, what you see on dating websites is the smaller scammers since you figure there are no billionaires on a free dating website...lol So that opens up the scammers here to just about everywhere (I don't think Antarctica but there might be some bored scientists down there...lol)
But there there is also the 'green card scammers' where it is just someone looking for a way out of where they are right now. They make up their profile with where they want to go rather than where they really are, basically to get around the way these websites are set up. That is more of a scam on the website as long as they are honest with you at least... |

It does not even have to be a guy behind the emails, a fast proposal should be a red flag. Even if the pictures are really the girl you are talking to, all the words could be fake and she is just telling you what she thinks you want to hear. She might be the meanest girl in her village and no one likes her so she is trying to find a way out of there. Then you are stuck with her...lol |
