I can't respond without knowing what specifically you are talking about.

jistme.... got to go to work now, so do not have time to bring up your referenced site. Since Obama is running for president, in lieu of referencing sites, you should cut and paste so we can all digest what you are trying to tell us.

I'd rather not cut and paste a bunch of text that people have to wade through.. since I've had complaints about the length of some of my posts without that being a factor.

Try highlighting the link, hitting control 'C', opening a new page and setting your cursor in the address field, then hitting control 'V'.

he reminds me of every other politician who has ever lived over the past 15 thousand years. they all say nice things, make promises and portray themselves as being these great people when in fact their all just in it for the money and power. not a single one of them really has the good of the country in mind unless they stand to make a very sizable profit in the process.

Adolf Hitler ( was a charmer of the people)

WTF?

That was a bit sarcastic. How do you think he fooled the German people to agree with him? He promised "post WWI" Germany a prosperous future. He had been a failure in WWI Germany, but came back speaking with charisma about what he would do for the future of Germany. Then proceeded to kill anyone who spoke out against him. The people were patriotic and hungry and needed "a plan". Hitler gave them one. They did not know the "whole" truth. But, they knew they had food and the basic necessities at the time, which they hadn't had before.

Spare me the history lesson. What does that have to do with the topic of this thread? Stay on topic or go to another thread.

Barack Obama reminds me of Adolf Hitler. It is "on topic".

Your idea of charisma is Hitler? a better example for charisma today would be Bill Clinton.

I explained they both had/have charisma.
OK then.. No charismatic politicians! That oughta work! We can recruit straight out of my industry. Engineers, by and large, seem to be born without a personality at all...

Its not "my idea of charisma", it is history's pronouncement. Google Adolf Hitler/speeches.

"a better example for charisma today would be Bill Clinton."

Darn it! laugh

I have to admonish you once again, which I really hate to do since you seem like such a nice guy!

Sorry but Bill isn't drawing the crowds anymore. The Dems sent him out to New Hampshire to rescue Hillary, but he isn't getting much of an audience. It would appear that he has lost his charisma.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. bigsmile

I don't think the man was ever charasmatic but as you know, the leftys fell in love with him and he could do no wrong in their eyes. You know how that story ended. Please do not admonish me again... I think this time you just mistook my sarcasm for being serious...sorry.

For the record my contempt for the Clinton's should never be questioned. I shamefully voted for Bill twice and he betrayed me in the field of fire. As a war veteran I take that slap in the face quite seriously. It made me pay more attention to politics and world affairs. And its why I am now a staunch conservative. So thanks Bill, you opened my eyes.

I was having fun with you. Whenever I use the emoticons, know that I am being silly.
