Idaho will go Republican because that's what we do! So as far as the Republican candidates go I heard a bit of mention about McCain,although I am thinking it was sarcastic. I would really like to hear opinions on the worst of the evils in this department. I truely believe that none of the Republicans are Aliens (although some of them may be better served if they were.)laugh I'd be interested in that discussion too.. but since this thread has drifted from one conspiracy theory to another..(The most recent being something inspired by a T.V. somewhere, obviously stuck on the Sci-fi channel) and barely hanging on to the topic at hand... How 'bout you open a thread discussing the Republican Candidates?

I might as well get behind Obama now that my man Biden is out. I disliked a couple things about Obama, especialy the Iran vote, but there's plenty I agree with & he'd make a much better leader than any of the republicans (though Mccain may be good). I still think Biden was the best man for the job, but maybe he can be the next sec. state;^]

Ok To all of you who said the country would fall apart if Clinton gets in office. Let me take a minute to remind you of somethings. First of all everyone knows who ran the country when Bill was in office, It was Hillary. The national defecate dropped to an all time low! The unemployment rate dropped. And we damn sure were not at war because the Clinton's were not stupid people who took Osama's crap or anyone elce's. If we damned every man or woman in America who had cheated on their spouse we would have only a chosen few left so the next time you think about bashing the Clintons, think about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

When did bush get elected? January 20, 2001...so wouldn't this mean that pretty much clinton handed bush a sinking ship? they had to be planning the attack when clinton was in office....off topic i know but food for thought. Personally here is my input i don't think that we are ready for a female president for a couple of reasons. The biggest one being foriegn affairs. I understand our culture is ready but what about other cultures that our president has to deal with on a daily basis? what happens when Hilary has to go talk to a leader of one of the middle eastern countries when their culture automatically looks at woman as subordinate? that is what scares me. I'm afraid other countries(some with nuclear capability) would not take us seriously at all...that's my worry |

The topic is Obama but since Hillary is running against Obama I guess stating why she won't win is kind of on topic. I think this country is ready for the most qualified person to be elected regardless of sex, race, or religion. America is absolutley ripe for a woman to be president... just not this one. There have already been numerous highly respected female world leaders so your point is invalid. A woman can kick ass with the best of them... just not Hillary.
