I think being in my early 50's puts me outside the range of cougar. However, somewhat recently I have decided I am much more generally attracted to guys that are at least 6 years younger. And I have just dated a guy 12 years younger then one 16 years younger. Now I have a huge crush on one about 18 years younger. I wonder if some just think I am a "MILF" when they see me. I wonder if some people generally may look down on me for dating men that are so much younger(my nephews age)? Well, it doesn't matter as long as you both connected |

No harm in doing something you feel comfortable, and the other is also at ease. People tend to work hard to get what they want, and they are happy if they get something in their track at early stages. The mismatch of age often lands in early separations because the involvement is not deep. Therefore, do not indulge too deep and be prepared for early separation. But never stop enjoying the moments that come in very much similar to enjoying the trip and not missing any of the beautiful sites coming across.

The quote. "The heart wants what the heart wants", comes to mind. Personally, I don't think age matters providing they are over the age of 18, and able to legally marry here in the UK. Many much more important considerations than age when searching for a lifetime partner in my opinion.

Yes and no. Agreed, there are many important considerations other than age. That said, age brings life experience and if the life experiences differ too much, the age difference becomes quite important. As an extreme example, the difference in life experience between somebody my age and somebody of the age of one of my adult grandchildren is simply too large. Of course, as you grow older, ten or twenty years make less of a difference. |
