Secretly conspiring? I don't know how secret you think it is, but they're not being too secret about their intentions. The West wants Russia out of Ukraine, and is working to get ammunition and weapons to Ukraine. The West doesn't want to take down Russia any further than that, despite what Putin or Medvedev say. Russia is dangerous, but a collapsed Russia is dangerous and unpredictable.

There might be an issue of secrecy here regarding whether there are any NATO troops inside Ukraine.

actually they did. but not boycotting Russian oil,instead continue buys from them that's indirectly supporting Russia against Ukraine. that's the hypocrisy of the west.

If not entirely, most of the crude or refined Russian oil which is reaching the West, gets through sanction's loopholes.

I hear you, was the same here during covid with Boris (the clown), he gave all his chums upto 26M pound contracts for covid gear (masks etc) which never materialised, and the ruling party (Conservatives) advised everyone daily, to isolate if they so much as farted, put limits on numbers at weddings/funerals (maximum 3 guests) while all time partying on down, behind the closed doors of downing street....

Special forces are ususally the first to go into a war zone so it wouldn't surprised me that UK and US SF are there already.... but this leak means regular british troops are on Ukraine soil also.

When NATO sent its troops (officially) to Ukraine, that will not go down well with Russia.

Both Russia and Ukraine welcomed foreign troops to come help them, but there are no official US or British troop deployments to Ukraine. Any such people there are serving as regular Ukraine militia. I know some Ukrainians in the US Army, so it wouldn't surprise me if someone like them went to Ukraine to notionally fight with the Ukraine forces, but secretly act as US military advisers. The war in Ukraine is a huge military intelligence gold mine.

The video mischaracterizes Macron's statements. He never said he wanted war with Russia so there was nothing to soften, and his statement was that NATO troops in Ukraine should not be completely ruled out. This was after Russian state TV said that Russia should destroy Poland to test the NATO response. To Russia, that may sound aggressive, but peacekeeping troops in foreign countries has been going on for centuries. Especially with the French.

The video did not mischaracterizes Macron's statements. France want Europe to send NATO troops to Ukraine knowing full well that would escalate the situation in Ukraine and lead to a global conflict. Russia did a nuclear testing the other day to send a message and France back down issuing a statement that he did not want a war with Russia. If he is bold enough to whip up Europe in a frenzy to send troops to Ukraine because 'Europe is dying' then he should be ready to face the consequences of war.
