first off my son is not out of the wood as of yet
they removed his tubes and the nurse ask him what he wanted and he said icecream and he was hungary, which is a good sign.... but any how they did a colonostopy on him to clear the fluid out of his lungs, before they can give him any food as for the health virus in todays paper there is a artical that is called fungus amonia which is very rare, and it cause issue with heart lungs and kidneys, my son has bactral amonia but it causes the same thing.....a friend of mine her dad is also in the hospitol with the same thing and as well had a issue with his heart... THIS IS VERY SERIOUS AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO FOR ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN SICK LATELY |

Bronchoscopy is the procedure done to look inside the lungs and brochial tubes, so she likely meant bronchoscopy. Does sound like a nasty virus.

Yes Marie, a bronchoscopy, as well as a pleural tap to drain fluid from the lungs.
As to the pneumonias, I suspect, bacterial which responds well to antibiotics, is one, and viral is the other, which is the more challenging of the two. I was thinking too, the dialysis would have been to take pressure off the only kidney that functions, which although appears scary, is a precautionary measure, and a better choice for an already stressed and unwell body. Queene, thanks for the update, and glad he is starting to rally. |

i called the hospitol and he was resting, and i will go up there later and see him like i said hes not out of the woods yet..so keep up with the prayers |
