Topic: No Fun Doing Online Dating,

Maybe I'm too old or old fashioned or set in my ways, but chatting as a primary way of communication is a nuisance. I'm 60 and didn't grow up with all tech. When you wanted to talk to someone you got on the phone or met up and talked. If you're on here looking you should also be on here reading the profile. I don't understand you send a message and ask me my name when it's in the first line of my profile. And the fake accounts!!!!! Are people on here just to see how many hits they can get? This way of trying to find someone to date is just exhausting. If all you want to do is chat, and not talk on the phone or at least video chat. I am not interested. it eats up way to much time.

Many people don't date off the Internet. Some on here probably just post and or observe others. I know men who don't date off the Internet Older men and they are definitely not losers either. Do what you feel comfortable with internet dating is not for everyone.

People can say that they want to meet somewhere on a certain day. They don't do that.

It's free to chat and direct message anyone who catches your eye... Hence the fakes, because it's free... Just get some books from the library or take adult classes for a week or two to get to know the Internet, it's pitfalls and its benefits... Good luck none the less...

Be sure to seek out a dating site where there are actually serious relationships formed. Usually those sites are very expensive because they Match couples of all ages.

I think it’s not about age barrier, love happens naturally but shouldn’t be take for granted afterwards

Maybe you are moving to quickly, many women want to chat here in Mingle2 and learn more about you first before moving on to calls and video calls, or meeting you, much safer for them to stay and exchange messages with you here on the site until they are happy to take the next step, be patient.
