Animals DO NOT randomly attack. They do give you warnings. If you fail to listen to the warnings, then you will definetly pay the consequences. From what I've read the "victims" were taunting the cat. Taunting a wild animal is never a wise choice, even if they are caged.

Both sides hired lawyers and its going to get ugly from a legal stand point. Theres no doubt in my mind that those people taunted the tiger. I really doubt the tiger just jumped out for no reason and said "OMGWTF HOOMANS! I R HUNGRY!" and started attacking them. Also I read a book somewhere that says zoo animals can always escape if they want it badly enough, but most of them are content with being feed every day and just laying around. So for the tiger to jump out of its territory and just start mauling for no reason is stupid. Just my thoughts. And sorry for the earlier post I was under medication of nyquil thank you!!!.. please spread the word...we can not let justice be unblinded, and turned in to a whore |

Of course they taunted the tiger, they're teenage boys. However the zoo absolutely has a responsibility to keep its visitors from being eaten by its inhabitants. This includes preventing teenage boys from taunting tigers as well as building secure enclosures.

I feel bad for the Tiger , and if that lawyer takes the case in support of the survivors of the attack , I hope he loses big time!! I feel that the Tiger was tormented, and they got what was coming to them . I am going by my gut feeling, so for the present ,this is my belief, unless they can prove otherwise.

I have recently received a few e-mails on this subject and the consensus is that there should have been a guard, or better security, to this I will also add my Monkey point of view.
Do we want to live in a world with a rent a cop on every corner? ...rent a cops have “I have a uniform” disease and contribute to the A-holes of the world, personally I want to go to a zoo and be able to take pictures of the animals without having some 19 year old prick of a security guard tell me to move along sir. Well tell ya what America when you can tell me who said if you sacrifice your freedom for security then you don’t deserve either, then we can talk until then, my opinion stays the same. F-ya all!!! people , oh and another thing, I did paraphrase the above quote so no one would cut and paste it in to there browser and come back with an answer acting like there all that!!! |
