Waiting for the laundromat to open You need to petition for it to be open 24/7 So much handier for early birds like us I know, right! By time anything opens around here, traffic is atrocious. I would much rather head out at 4am to do all my errands, then I'd have a full day to play.

making a stew.. pressure cooking beef twice in water paprika and vegeta, then third time will add the carrots and potatoes. simple meal but worth it.

I arrived back in Kazakhstan yesterday, and I'm trying to get over the jet lag and get things ready for the new school year. I have to be back to work on Monday for staff orientation, but I'm going to the school tomorrow and Friday to start working on my classroom.

I passed out on a 95 degree day. Doctor is trying to figure out why so he put a heart monitor on me. The ding a ling doctor secured the contacts on the skin with scotch tape. WTF? Kept coming off so I just got done securing it better with duct tape.
