Feeling very happy as my garage door is fixed! It is shorter, closes better than it ever did before, hangs better than before too! And the main reason: I can now hang the last section of gutter in place :D

Then there's paying. We'd agreed on a price upfront, ridiculously low. Not too weird as wages in Ukraine are ridiculously low. But he'd been working for just over 4 hrs straight in this stinking heat!
Makes me feel guilty, and I of course think according to Dutch rates.

Do you then give more, and if so, how much more?
I think I gave too much extra as he was somewhat overwhelmed, although happy.
Oh well, it is done, I'm happy too that my door is fixed so well! The man did a great job.
Odd thing though: he used nails, not screws? I've not seen that here in yonks. No one uses nails no more.

If you think you paid him fairly for a job he did well and you desperately needed done then all is good!

I feel bittersweet. Today is 7 months since my husband passed away. I'm at peace today, grief comes in waves, so I don't know what tomorrow will bring. Today I'm humble and appreciate
how far I've come.

That doesn't help I'm a hopeless romantic in a hook up culture, but I'll deal with that when I'm ready.

Excited about getting hired to substitute teach. Plus on Thursday I will get hired for the part-time retail position, so I will be all set. I'm thrilled about getting back to work, it's been way to long.

Beginning to feel a bit better after feeling sick as a dog for about an hour and a half, two hours maybe.
Not sure if something on the pizza I ate was off or that it just didn't go down well for whatever reason.
But it was bad in capitals. Got a bucket next to me as I wasn't sure I'd make it without.
Thank goodness it's going better now. Didn't eat or drink anything all night except for regular small sips of water.
Whether or not it was the pizza, I won't eat one for quite some time to come, hihi. I haven't felt this sick in yonks. I think I turned to green like this --->
