I had NO idea that a walrus could be so big! They can get really long, and heavy, and the male tusk can get up to 1 meter in length?!
I didn't know. I came across this clip, the rare occasion where a famished polar bear is trying to get a walrus meal. In comparison the polar bear -not a small animal itself- looks harmless and not really all that big. I had no idea until I'd seen this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvWLbK_mNw0 |

They can attack humans out of self-defence and have even capsized boat :/ And they can run as fast as a human, pffff... Apparently running on all fours. Who would think that? |

There was a Zoo director from Columbus, Ohio. Jack Hanna, who became a little famous in the US, and I saw him give a appearance at the Idaho Falls. He had Q and A. One of the most dangerous animals to meet up in the wild is, in his opinion, the Polar Bear.
