Jayme, I feel for you, but I have to remind you and I am not being argumentative, it is not a gender thing that is the problem, but rather a personal thing. To quote you "Good gawd fellas, stop playin games with women's hearts, we can only take SO MUCH!". My self, I heard those words for 2 years from my ex, and I asked her repeatedly not to tell me those things if she didnt mean it, and every time she reassured me that she did. Then one day a friend of mine said that she needed me to meet someone who needed to tell me something, so I met him, it turns out that for almost the entire time we were supposed to be committted to each other, she was dating other men and the person I was meeting was one of them, Terrible thing!!! All along my gut told me that something was wrong because she would tell me she loved me, but her actions said another. So I plead with you to understand that it is a person thing, not a gender thing. Your understanding of the situation is clouded simply because you date men, not women. Every guy I have ever met has played games with me and done everything else they could to break me. Last guy i was with acted like I could do no better than him. But I am not letting that get me down, which is why I am here. I believe there is someone for everybody, and you have to meet a few wrong ones so that you can appreciate the right one.

I think the most annoying part is that I KNOW this guy really DOES care for me, I know him better than he thinks i do. His situation is that he KNOWS the by being with me he will have lost a life long rebellion against his parents.. b/c they simply adore me...lol. They call me their other daughter, haha, and his brothers and sister love me too. He's only 19, so I really DO understand that he's scared or whatever. He says he doesn't know who he is... again, I understand that, I just will never understand what the purpose in frantically hunting me down, proclaiming his love, then backing off like I've got the plague. Men are so confusing, I give up.

most men are not assholes. i have never messed with anybody's heart or emotions. in fact it's quite the opposite. when women learn not tojudge every man on what a few men did to them maybe i might start to think women actually do all this stuff they claim they do.
