We didn’t get to go out to dinner anywhere this year, or last, so we just had a nice quiet dinner at home......and lots of wine for me!

Thinking it's kinda scary to be choosing a new job search and opening myself up to a new period of uncertainty. I'll still be teaching but it will be in a new country (possibly even back to the U.S.).

I'll still be teaching but it will be in a new country (possibly even back to the U.S.). Huh? I thought you were going to Poland? I'm going to Poland just on vacation. I'm meeting my daughter there. We will also make a quick trip to Copenhagen. I've decided to leave Kazakhstan and teach somewhere else. The scary thing is that we have to give our notice of intent to leave at our current school in October (I've already given mine), but we can't start our new job search until a couple months later. This is one profession where you can't find a new job before you give notice to your old job. I have no idea where I'll end up. Kinda nerve-wracking!

I thought you were going to work in Poland next. Good thing is that as far as I know, many countries direly need teachers. I'm guessing this goes for TEFL too? But I can understand it is nerve-wracking to not know when you have an income again.
